In 2016 the company’s performance improved by approximately 100% compared to 2015. The company consolidated its activity on the domestic and international markets thanks to the network of 350 professional partners operating in 52 countries. The recent years have also witnessed an increase in the brand awareness, which has resulted in a 27% rise in the brand recognition among consumers (data reported by and a number of awards and distinctions. In 2017 Baltic Wood is planning to boost revenues and enhance the sales dynamics.

Brand success milestones
The beginning of the year brought the company’s participation in two major trade events: Domotex 2017 in Hanover and Bau 2017 in Munich. The Medieval Castle from the Timeless Collection™ of hand-distressed floors was awarded by the competition jury at Domotex 2017 the title of Innovation of the Year 2017. The floor was presented in the Innovations Zone, the place showcasing the most interesting and designer products selected from among the hundreds on offer.
In 2016 Baltic Wood was awarded the prestigious Good Brand 2016 – Quality, Trust, Renown in the ‘Wooden Floors’ category. The award is granted by the editorial board of the Forum Biznesu insert of the Gazeta Prawna daily, which reaches the most thriving and recognisable brands on the Polish market. The company was also awarded Acanthus Aureus during the Fair of Budma 2016 in Poznań. The award is granted for the best designed stand that fulfils the company’s mission.

– Distinctions and awards serve to prove that the unique strategy for brand positioning which we adopted has been effective – it has been producing positive effects with regard to both the image and the sales. Baltic Wood has also won the Red Dot Design Award 2015, which is the world-class award. The award-winning floor was chosen as one of the three wooden floors in the world and the first one from Poland in the competition history of more than fifty years. The win in the prestigious category of Product Design serves to confirm the highest quality, functionality and innovativeness.

Development strategy
In 2017 Baltic Wood is planning to expand into new markets, boost the sales dynamics and increase the company’s revenues. The development strategy will be implemented by Rafał Zawierucha, the President of the Management Board, who is an expert with many years’ experience in sales, strategic planning, developing and managing teams under his belt. – The main goal for 2017 is to maintain the leading position in the domestic market and one of the top positions in the international marketplace, among the manufacturers of the superior-quality natural wood flooring. We want to increase our sales in China, where as one of the few Polish companies we are selling premium products to an ever-growing group of clients. We’re also going to focus on cultivating a positive image of our brand, and on further development of manufacturing technology – states Rafał Zawierucha, President of the Management Board.
