New image

In 2009 Baltic Wood celebrates its 10th anniversary. On this occasion
we have made a decision to strengthen our image by introducing a new logotype and a clear image identity, which is going to be consistently developed in all our publicity materials.

'Our primary aim is to deliver perfect product – of the highest quality, adjusted to different customers’ requirements and needs. New logotype refers through its form and colours to 6 pillars of Baltic Wood – values to which we subordinate every activity in the company – quality, perfection, modernity, aesthetics, flexibility and eco-responsibility. Black is a symbol of luxury, elegance, professionalism, while green refers to our active pro-ecological policy.' - says Elżbieta Szydłowska, Member of the Board and Sales and Marketing Director at Baltic Wood

The new Baltic Wood logotype

The new logotype is modern and dynamic in form, but in a way it refers back to the old one. The two colours that have been used are fundamental in meaning and have an identification value for the company. These are black and vivid, friendly and spring green.

The black is a strong, timeless, elegant colour and the green is bright, optimistic and distinctive. The combination of the two introduces a balance between the black-related gravity and elegance and the green-related freshness and energy.

According to 'Pantone Guide to Communicating with Colour' the black symbolises a sophisticated, elegant, sturdy and tasteful product, whereas the green is the colour of courage, inspirational optimism, freshness and prestige.

Just like the previous logo, the new symbol relates to the wood grain. However, its outline is simpler, geometrified, but also more complete and dynamic so as to perform better as a sign identifying with a powerful and modern trademark.

The typeface used for the logotype is Arno Pro. It is a two-element serif typeface and is well-designed and modern. Still, it features classical, noble font curves. It corresponds well with the block blotches of color, enhancing their lightness and elegance.
